    Best thermostat?

I'm putting together a habitat for a new BP, and can't remember where I got the thermostat that I'm using for my other one. Any suggestions on good thermostats? Just looking to regulate a heat pad. I'm in Wichita, KS, so I might have to buy it online if none of the local stores carry it.

Spyder robotics' herpstats are pretty good. So are helixs. If you have two different things you want to regulate get a herpstat 2.

I have multiple Herpstat 2s and a Herpstat 1 and love them.

Yep, definitely Herpstat. Have two Herpstat 4s and a Herpstat 2 Red. Best investment I've made for my setup.

Herpstat is by far the best brand on the market. To my knowledge, they are still currently the only tstat that has a safety feature which shuts the unit down in the event of failure. Even the next best product (the vivarium electronics I believe) can and will fail in the on position if it breaks, skyrocketing your temps and potentially harming your animals, damaging you equipment or even stating a fire.

Totally drop the cash on a Herpstat if you can afford it.

I've used/have both Vivarium Electronics and Herpstat and they are both good, I prefer the Herpstat 4.
    Cheers, Jeff
