Humidity?

What's the highest you guys will let your humidity get before doing something about it??? Mine is at like 85% right now, thinking about moving to newspaper instead of cypress mulch to try and get it down a bit

The cypress just needs to dry out some. A few days and you will be good. Until then what I do is just use a rag and wipe the condensation off the walls a few times a day to get rid of some of the moisture.

In the future you can also dry out the cypress a bit by putting some into a shallow pan and then set it in a sunny spot for a few hours before using it.

So there are no consequences or reprocussions from having humidity that high for a few days?

Average humidity where ball pythons are from runs in the high 70s and 80s, so it won't hurt your snake. It does cause excess bacterial growth though, so if it's an ongoing thing (more than a few days) you'll want to clean the enclosure and change the water more frequently than you otherwise would.
