Hey,

I'm currently living in Somerville. I live in a house/apt with 4 other people, I'd say this is your best option. Finding a house with others that are cool with snakes, as well as a landlord who will be ok. My landlord doesn't mind, we also have a bunny in the house. Finding an apartment will be a challenge. I have not had much luck in my search. I am currently looking to move, and have lost several apartments because of the snake. I know there are places but I'm not finding them.

So with that said, if you do decide to go ahead and acquire your first ball python. ** I may have an amazing offer for you in the next month ** I have an apt viewing tonight and more scheduled soon. Neither of which will allow the snake but they are great apts so I may take it. I've been battling with the idea of getting rid of my ball python. Only had her 1 year and I really don't want to get rid of her, but moving is something I have to do. And the headache of being denied because people don't like reptiles or are afraid (irrational as a cat or dog does 20 times more damage and smell worse than a snake... actually snakes don't have any of those issues except )

The offer: If I do find a good apt and I need to part ways with my python, I feel better knowing she would end up in a good home with responsible owner. Also someone who is nearby also makes it better. I have an extremely tame and sweet female Butter Spider ball python. Pictures on profile. 1 year old and purchased from a reputable breeder - paperwork available, eats regularly, frozen-thawed rats - have two bags of those too. I also have a professional cage set up I may be willing to sell, Animal Plastics - T8, Spyder Robotics thermostat, Radiant heat panels. and all the other cage accessories you would need.

Let me know if i can answer any other questions
Mike
