Not all eggs laid
I don't know if I screwed up here. I have a lot of eggs this year, almost 60 so far (a lot for me anyway). I opened the tub of a female and there she was coiled around the eggs.
I removed her gently and took the eggs and put in incubator. But I looked at her vent and it is quite obvious there are a couple more inside. I don't know if she was actually in the procesd of laying when I removed the eggs or not. Judging from the consistency of the eggs, they were just laid.
I put her back in the tub, with the other eggs removed. Is she going to lay the rest? Or did I screw up bad?

Re: Not all eggs laid
Hopefully she will lay the remaining eggs if left to settle down.

Anything I can do? Leave her alone? What are the chances of her laying the remaining eggs?
Should I leave her alone or take her to the vet?

She was already coiled on the eggs and not moving. I thought this meant she already stopped laying?

I just looked through the clear tub and she's laid again. I can't be sure as I don't want to disturb her, but looking in through the 5.5 inch tall tub front I see she's in there coiled around at least one egg.

First thing, relax
they coil up and lay the eggs in the middle of themselves, she was in the middle of laying when you pulled them. Just let her finish, give it a few hours so they can set up, then pull the rest.

Thanks owal. What do you mean by "set up"? Like let the eggs solidify a bit?
The ones I put in the bator, they will be alright, right?

when eggs are laid they are kinda mushy, I don't know how long it takes but they need time to harden up a little bit to be the eggs we normally deal with, but I know after a few hours they are set up. might take 10 minutes I really donno and chances are your eggs will be fine.
