Hey I just recieved my Repti Temp 500 Thermostat, my question is ...
Will it work with a Rubbermaid, or I can only use it with Glass Tanks?!?!

It shouldn't matter what enclosure you have, just plug the heat pad into the thermostat, then the thermostat in the wall.

The thing is, the Thermostat glues to the side of the enclosure, and measures the temps inside from outside ... NO PROBE! ...

Mine has a probe, yours doesn't??!! Here is a picture of mine, is yours different?

The one on the right is obviously the cord that plugs into the wall, and the one of the left is the probe. I drilled a hole in the rubbermaid large enough to fit the probe through.

If yours doesn't have a probe, you should send it back. That sucks, I'm sorry!

It says "No remote sensor cable inside terrarium" ... arg
I guess I'll just use it with my 50 gallon tank once I get it from NY.
Edit: Arg thats great I just found out that my relatives shattered my 50gal tank.
Edit: Even better news I got from LLLReptiles - Shipping & handling is not refundable and a 10% re-stocking fee will be applied ... My day is just going great.
Arg, I can't believe I wasted my time and ordered it, now only will I end up with nothing, but with ten dollars less, if not more. Thanks for nothing.
