    The feeder should leave a decent lump that disappears in 2-3 days. Feeding every 5-7 days is fine.

    I would plan on housing an adult mainland male retic in a 6'x24"x18" enclosure, they do use the extra vertical space if you give them something to climb on, plus the extra height makes it easier to reach into the back to clean it.
