Male Retic Caging?

I recently purchased a male lavender albino retic. He is just shy of 90 days old and just over three feet long. I'm looking to order his permanent enclosure. He wont be going in there for a while, but I just want to have it on hand and in my house. My question goes to those who have a lot of experience with male retics. I'm looking into a Vision cage. What would be the ideal size cage for permanent housing for a male? I've seen youtube videos stating 6x36x18 is good. I've also seen videos with 8x36x18 as a best fit cage. About 5 minutes ago I watched a video saying a 4 foot tub is all a male needs. I'd really like to hear from some experienced male keepers, what they would recommend. Is the Vision brand a good choice? Is their a better brand choice? Mainly, I'm most interested to hear what is the best size enclosure? I'd like to buy 1 cage, that my animal will be comfortable with forever.

Currently, he is in a 30 gallon glass terrarium. He seems to enjoy himself in there.

Depending on how heavy you plan on feeding him, a male on a slow fed normal growth diet can be housed comfortably in a 4x2x1 vision (V400). If you want to give them some extra room grab a V600 and call it done. I have a 13' 8" albino dwarf female in a V600 with no issues at all and plenty of room for her. A mainland male will tend to stay slender unless fed strong, and normally top around 10-12 ft.

Both of my mature males are in Boamaster 96x30x18's. They could go into smaller enclosures but they do use all of the bigger one, I think it encourages them to stretch out more and be a bit more active. Neither of them have issues like pushing or going off food due to being in an oversize enclosure.

Much appreciated! When you say slow fed diet, can you give me an example? At 90 days old, I'm currently giving him 1 rat crawler every 6 days. Would you say that is sufficient? Should I be feeding him more? I would love to keep him in the 4x2x1, just for space reasons in my house. By the same token, I don't want to give him less then he deserves. At the end of the day, I want to keep him fed properly and healthy. No plans on mating him pretty much ever. Just an awesome pet to me. I appreciate any advise you can give me!

The feeder should leave a decent lump that disappears in 2-3 days. Feeding every 5-7 days is fine.

I would plan on housing an adult mainland male retic in a 6'x24"x18" enclosure, they do use the extra vertical space if you give them something to climb on, plus the extra height makes it easier to reach into the back to clean it.
