you're welcome. and from the looks of it and what those read, unless the snake really worked those rear fangs you should be able to get away with very mild reactions. otherwise it my swell a decent bit and hurt for a few days.

    good luck.

    Re: Food bite

I met a guy at Reigning Reptiles in Buford Ga 2 weeks ago that spent 3 days in the hospital from a hog nose bite. He is allergic to bees and never thought about his hog nose biting him. I saw pictures of his hand that looked like a catchers mitt. He told me this as I was contemplating on the purchase of a hog nose in the store.
I didn't make the purchase since I don't take a yellow jacket sting too well!!!

That's what happened. Its less swollen today more just in pain. He was on for a good 3-4 minutes chewing the crap out of me.
And to think this is my mild mannered boy! Haha. Totally my fault though

I have usually decent/average reaction to venom. I've gotten tagged by a wild card of a g. rosea and it just mildly itched and swelled a bit. Nothing like this hog bite! Just shows the dependency on the amount of venom I think.
