Another feed question!

So, Boots is technically supposed to get large rats (by weight) but he eats live and it terrifies him. He DID attempt to take a medium, however she bit him and he released. �� at my store, we get lots of small rats that are REALLY tiny. So, my question is : if he's supposed to have a medium every 2 weeks, can I just switch to a small every week? He's 4ft 1726g

Technically your snake is supposed to eat whatever he'll eat. Some like smaller food, some like food less often. Your own judgement and your own experience with your specific snake is going to matter far more than some rule on a website you read. Realistically, males can live on small rats. Even with feeding him small rats, he's going to go long periods without eating at times.
