    Cutting eggs imo, seems unnecessarily risky. Why not wait and give the egg the chance it really needs which is to not lose any blood or vital fluids. Everything the developing animal needs to survive is contained in that egg for a reason. When it's time for it to emerge it will. It actually seems kind of cruel to cut a egg. Totally my perspective on it.
