Sorry for the noob questions
2 things here....... I picked up a female normal ball python at a snake show a month ago and i am planning to breed her. I wasent planning on getting her untill i got up there and then i couldent resist. I asked everything i could think to ask off the top of my head she is a huge female proven breeder and i asked if she bred last year and he said yes. What i didnt ask was dates. My boy of course is alot smaller 1/3 the size at 800 grams.
Is there danger with putting him in with her to early? Is it common for females to injure male breeders?
Sorry just wanted to make sure i am not hurting my snakes

By the time you complete a proper quarantine, you should be good to go on breeding them. I usually pair a female that bred the previous year 6 months after she lays. As far as the female hurting the male, it does happen but is very rare.

0.1 Wife
3.1 Kids

There is no reason to apologize. It's always good to ask questions then take a guess and potentially hurt your snakes.
If if it is too early to breed her she simply won't breed. Makes may make the attempt but unless she is ready, nothing will happen. It is very rare for females or males to hurt each other.

Typically when I see matches the female is bigger by a bit. He should be OK. Got everything else set up for eggies and babies? I love snabies
0.1 Lesser Pastel
1.0 Black Spooky Kitty
0.1 Faye Tiny Kitty
?.? Feral Cat Colony
And more on the way always....

I am not sure what you are asking exactly. If you are worried about the size difference there is nothing to worry about. I had a 500 gram boy breed a 4000+ gram girl before.
