    About to shed??

I've had my butter girl since early April, and she hadn't shed yet.
I'm not concerned, probably more impatient than anything. Does her belly look like she might be about to shed?? Or am I just seeing things.
It looks kinda pink to me. Here's another (my apologies for how terrible it is)

See that was the other thing!!
She hasn't been out much at all since last week. She's usually so active when it gets dark but other than just seeing a few things kinda shifted when I wake up she's usually right in the same place!

I see some pink so it looks like she's in pre-shed. Read the sticky thread on the shedding process and learn all about it.

Mine is doing that too! Kind of worries me cuz he's not in his warm hide, even tho it's not too hot for him (89°). I've tried to find info on if they want to stay cool while in shed but haven't found anything. Is yours staying in th cool hide or warm?

I know they like to stay hidden during shed, since they feel vulnerable, but not if they like to stay cool...thought I should clarify that

Honesty she stays in her cool hide about 70% of the time. I just assume she likes it better over there.
Her warm side isn't too warm by any means, about 91 all the time.
I think she's just about to shed.. Any idea how long it took yours to go into blue after you noticed her belly?

    Re: About to shed??

Your baby knows what temperature they want/need. I wouldn't worry too much about being in one hide or the other during shed. Mine likes to play favorites every now and again. Another way to tell is from what I've read is they get some very tiny bits of wrinkling when they are about to shed. Not a ton like if they're dehydrated but like maybe an extra wrinkle or two if that makes any sense. Just keep your humidity up to about 65% and she should be golden. ^^ Give us some pictures after she sheds. I bet she'll be gorgeous.
