Eating fine but no poop
Had my newest snake for a little over two weeks now. Each week he's eaten a small rat, but still hasn't pooped. Should I be worried?

No. They don't poop every time they eat. Some of mine go 6 or more weeks between poops.
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

I feel we need a sticky thread about the frequency of a BPs BMs.
They poop when they feel like it and not a second sooner. It's nothing to worry about, and normal feeding should continue.

Yes it's very common for them them to go a couple of weeks or wait to a shed. And if you handle them on a regular basis you should be able to notice I beleive what some refer to as "sausage butt". Their lower section before their vent has a swollen appearance. It's good to spot so you don't get a surprise while handling them.

Re: Eating fine but no poop
My girl gets what I call "poop butt" often. I've never had a snake go on me but my roommate did! He just got his albino that day, and was literally talking about how it's never happened before and won't happen and boom.... right on him. Peed and pooped all over him.

Get a Blood python. I have had them wait months before unleashing something that you would swear could have only come from a baby elephant.
This is one of my younger ones a few months back. My big girl does much more volume.

It's dangerous for a former pokemon trainer to get into ball pythons...

Probably no more than the rest of us. To be in this hobby you have to be just a little weird.
