There are many ways of keeping the various species - but a huge amount of the success you will have with it relies directly on your level of knowledge and observational skills.
I suspect in both areas his skill is high.
I commend you for thinking of taking the time to raise your skills to the same level - I think it is something we should all try and achieve.
