Look, I know that you are likely feeling stressed about your snake, so I will give you a pass, but you should really try being a little less chippy when people are trying to help you.

I don't know if you were referring to my post, but I think you probably were. I'm not sure what you think I was wrong about, and if you weren't referring to me, then apologize. I am guessing that you are referring to substrate. I told you what it looked like it could be from suboptimal photos and asked for clarification. Nothing more.

You imply that I am only bashing and not providing anything helpful, but I answered the title question of your post. That is not normal shed-related change. Was that not helpful?

I haven't ever known anyone keeping BPs to use Zilla Jungle mix. That doesn't mean it can't be done, but as a new keeper why go off the beaten path? I have a hunch that your substrate is holding too much moisture. That is distinctly different than too much ambient humidity. I generally think of jungle mix for amphibians and certain tropical snakes, turtles, etc. Not BPs. Doesn't mean it can't be done, but I wouldn't recommend it. Also, it doesn't get the best reviews.

My recommendations are as before... vet, toss that substrate, clean and sterilize your enclosure, use a more typical substrate, and double check your husbandry.

As I said before, if you can provide clearer pics, we might be able to better tell you what is going on, but we might not be able to.

If you don't find this helpful, let me know, and I won't respond to your posts going forward.
