I think the Nix product they were talking about is a lice product or something similar. It's not a product designed for treating mites on snakes, it's a product that's used because it has Permethrin in it. You dilute it properly and it functions the same as Provent-A-Mite.

A couple of months ago I had mites. I used a combination of Provent-A-Mite and a bottle of Reptile Spray. The combination worked very well for me.
