    First clutch laid!

    Well I guess crossing my fingers worked, because I came home last night to Trouser sitting on six beautiful eggs. I couldn't have asked for a better first clutch.

    This was Trouser's first clutch as well, and she is about six years old.

    Here is how I found her on 5/13:

    Nothing crazy; she was paired to a mojave and a black pastel het. pied, as was my other normal girl. I'd be thrilled to hold back a female from each gene, and over the moon if a black pastel has the full het. pied stripe like dad.

    Next year will be a little more interesting because I'll definitely have a mystic girl up to size, and my pied and fire girls are well on their way.
