I used to feed in a separate bin too but it got to be too much of a hassle especially once I had multiple snakes.
I could feed him in his enclosure but I get him out because he is usually in a paper towel tube and his tank has a bunch of fake plants to provide clutter in his tank. It makes it easier to me since I am giving him 2 rats to give him one and while he is eating it I can check/add water for him and the others, spot clean if needed, and any other husbandry maintenance.

Pyro is the only one I feed out of their enclosure.
To put him up, I carry him in the tote to his tank. I just pick him up and hold him down near the floor and let him go wherever he wants to. He is still in food mode and it takes ALOT to fill him up. He will inspect my hands to see if I have another rat but he has never tried to eat my hand other when I trick him like in the video. I have only ever had him get completely full where after I put him back he just stretched out up against the front of the tank and stay for 6+ hours.

I have not researched if getting him that full is good for him or not. He would pull up a chair to the snack bar if you would let him and eat all the time.
