I caught it almost immediately. I noticed He had bubbles around him mouth. Took him to the vet and got shots to give him. Got him back home and within 30 minutes you could tell something was wrong. He was panicky and moving around really fast then just started twisting and contorting himself until he was gone. He must have caused internal damage while he was twisting because blood came out of his mouth. Took him back to the vet after he died and the vet pulled a chunk of mucous that had lodged in his throat and and said it must have gotten stuck and suffocated him. Who knows, but it was gruesome and not something I wanted to see. It all happened in about 5 minutes.
What's good is I had him in a AP T8 with the divider with my Yellowbelly Mojave girl on the other side and she is perfectly fine. I don't know how he caught it. Still don't know but I'm thankful she's OK.
Just keep an eye on him.
