South Africa to UK - Import restrictions/requirements

Hi guys, does anyone have any info on this.. A friend of mine does breeding on a small scale in SA and wants to send me some snakes..

If it is for BP's then you need cites paperwork to bring it into europe. On both ends.

There will also be inspection fees etc. and probably tax to pay.

It's best to call the government office responsible and ask for clarification - they are supposedly quite helpful.
