    Duration of shed

How long should the actual process of getting the old skin off last? My snakes are in their second shed and the pinstripe hi had a full body dry shed before is doing a lot better, he actually got it off of his head this time. But just like last time, he seems to have tired himself out before making too much progress. I have improved humidity a lot this time but I don't know why he's having trouble. Should I put something rough for him to rub on?

    Re: Duration of shed

My snakes like making a fool out of me. In the time I walked away and typed and posted that, he has gotten his shed for just behind his head to almost halfway down his body.

It's all good Citrus. The main thing is that he got it off. We all have our moments.
