When the neighbors call you to get the "giant" snake in their yard

So....I am grateful that they came and got me vs killing it, but they said "I just saw a giant snake in our yard, it's huge and stretched out under the trees" and part of me was thinking maybe someone's pet got out....but nope this cool lil guy was the cause of all the commotion.

Ohhh!!!! You should have kept it for a day or two! I have a newly found love for Pituophis, and sadly only have one female Sunglow Sonoran Gopher until we have more space.

Good for them for not killing it!

Well thank goodness they came and got you rather than trying to slay the "giant snake". It's pretty cool to be relied on as the local snake tamer.

Sweet, I love bullsnakes, I just rescued one that was in the middle of the highway. Couldnt get pics because a big truck was coming but he was a good 5 footer and had been eating quite well.

If I had a spare setup ready I would have. I love them, but I just moved him to a safer place away from everyone.

I had to remove a "HUGE" snake from my neighbors yard as well, a 2 1/2 foot long Garter Snake, i giggled to myself when i saw the little bugger. My neighbor was horrified when i picked him up without using a stick or hook, he didn't even attempt to bite but he did spray me pretty good. iiiick!

In your shower room where it will be humid enough for him and the towel heater will provide enough heat for him until you get another set-up for him? xD

Right?! Full blown killer right there....like I said before at least they didn't kill it. I am grateful for that. I posted the pic online and got quite a few "we kill animals like that" comments. Really is sad.
