I'd wait a week. New snakes need time to get adjusted. My advice is wait a week solid. No handling and no cage disturbance except for changing water. At night be sure the room is black (save for a heat light if necessary that is outside the snakes visual spectrum... i.e. red bulb, ceramic, or night bulb). BP's are noctournal as I'm sure you know and it helps them get settled if you leave the room dark during the night especially during adjustment period. So in the end.... no handling for at least a week, don't try to feed for at least a week, don't disturb the cage or day/night cycle. Just out of curiousity what thawing method are you using?

I put it in a plastic bag about three hours ahead of time and left it out. I figured that was a little safer than a twenty minute water bath or some such. It was soft in every part of its body and then i put under the CHE for nearly ten minutes.

    What Size Sterilite?

yes sir! That's the method I use as well. I find this though.... my snake often won't eat prey that I have put in a ziplock bag... I have NO idea why but I believe the scent is to blame.. even we can smell new ziplocks right? So what I do now is , I went to the local grocery store and bought a pack of those disposable tupperware deals.. I think it was like three bucks for five (on sale) all I've ever needed was one, plus when you heat it up with the emitter you can just take off the lid of the tupperware and set the fixture on the top of the tupperware - no more burnt mousie hairs from the light being too close

    LMAO! "I'm being repressed!"

And yeah, mine is also on a hunger strike....hard to do, but waiting another week between feedings is the way to go. Funny, they don't seem to mind-in fact usually give us the finger and turn it down again, lol
