    It could be three days, it could be twelve. It depends on the incubation temperature and how close to hatching your babies really were when the eggs were cut. Remember, even when they pip on their own time, they still have to sit in the egg another 1-3 days (sometimes more, sometimes less) to absorb the last of their yolk.
