Why does my BP prefer the cold side of his Vivarium?

Hi guys,

Haze always tends to sit in the hide on the cold side of his viv. I rarely see him on the hot side. He may occasionally go over there and sit in the hot hide or sit on top of it. But 95% of the time he is always in his hide on the cold side of the tank.
Any ideas why?


The temperature heated by the heat mat has a hide and the heat is around 30-32 Degrees Celsius (Sorry, I'm British).
The cold side has a hide and is about 27-28 Degrees Celsius.
Humidity is between 40-55%.

I don't have an answer for your question, as I don't know enough about BP's yet....

but as a Canadian....NEVER apologize for using Celsius!!!!
