What do you guys think of this large process in my 1.0 Albino? Ovi or no? Thanks for looking and commenting.

1.0 signifies one male so, no, I'm forced to tell you that he is not ovulating . . . Sorry, I had to

Kidding aside, no. She is not obviously ovulating. She may be close (say, within a week or two or a few days, sometimes it's hard to tell) if the swelling seems sudden and different. Or not. Honestly, it's hard to say.

Ovulation isn't just a swelling -- which can be darn dramatic -- the snake also takes on a very characteristic posture as she moves her follicles from her ovaries to oviducts and usually will not have any part of her body rotated or elevated. I can't say it never happens, only that it seems very uncommon. She will look like she's concentrating hard on what she's doing, because she is.

Each snake varies on this. On average there is a prelay shed around two weeks after ovulation and then lay about 30 days later. Like I said they vary though and sometimes they vary a lot.
