There is a pre-ovy shed. Problem is, you don't know it's the pre-ovy shed until after they ovy. Without knowing the size of her meal and what she looked like before I can't say whether or not that's an ovy, a rat, or maybe even a build surge. I have girls that go through these surges that I could almost swear are ovys but without the tail suck. Seemingly overnight they'll swell up, then back down, a couple times during their building months before the actual ovulation.
