    Either one are fine it's really a matter of personal preference, I prefer the fine shredded one but have used large flake before.

    All animals (Balls, Hognose and Honduran Milksnakes) breeders and hathlings, are fed in their enclosure without issues.

    Love it.
    Iron python, do you feed snakes on that substrate with no issue?

    I want to switch to this, if it is safe to feed on (again, pics from another member's post in the feeder section):

    I am talking about these specific products. I'm sure some here has experience with the latter, but I never seem to get any responses when I ask. When I wanted to buy the second one as it was cheaper, my friend warned that the bulk bags as shown has "problems" compared to the same brand small bags, and told me not to use it. Then I found out he used it himself, and now he won't answer his darn phone. I just want to make sure big pieces are fine to feed on, and that that product doesn't have other issues like sharp spikey pieces etc.

    I need to order real soon as my aspen bed 1 is running out.
    How is that Aspen Bed 1 stuff? I live kind of close to Bean Farm and have thought about seeing if they would allow me to do a local pickup from their warehouse to save on the shipping. But is that stuff pretty finely shredded? And how about dust? Is it pretty dusty?

    It is very finely shredded. I do not notice any dust. Basically, I really love everything about it, except that the Nepco is much cheaper.

    Hmm I might have to try the stuff. Bean Farm has it for $25 but the shipping to me which is around 17 miles away is $37. So it costs more to ship it than the aspen actually costs lol. Now if I can just pay online without shipping and pick it up at the warehouse, then that would be awesome.

    @Hungba

    Feed right in the tub with no worries.

    Certain Exceptions;
    Eg. From time to time a yearling will get newspaper or printer paper underneath when first on Aspen.

    Thanks Iron python.

    Sauzo, that is ridiculous shipping cost. I pay less than the equivalent of $35 for it, TOTAL, product including delivery, and I live in HONG KONG!

    Tell me about it. Seems shipping from everyone is such a killer for the big bags of aspen
