Just a question. Where do you typically place your Herp's water? I have mine on the cool side but a friend said to put it near the Basking area. I have heard two different sides to this and would like your input. :?

Basically, just place the dish wherever you need to in order to achieve the correct humidity. Simple as that.
3.1.1 BP (Snyder, Hanover, Bo Peep, Sir NAITF, Eve), 1.2.3 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Sandiego, Carmen, Scooby, Camo, BABIES ), 1.0 Chow (Buddha), 0.2 cats (Jezebel, PCBH "Nanners"), 0.3 humans

I generally go cool side I don't like drinking hot water myself.

Mine is in the middle. I find that best for humidity reasons, and the snake has very easy access to it from both warm and cool sides.

I was told to put it on the cool side from the Reptile Shop I bought my BP from.
I'd myself place it where I get the best humidity from it.
