If you offer her something too small, ie mouse pinkie, she may not eat it.

She really doesn't need anything to get through the shed. You can feed if you want, or you can skip. It doesn't hurt the snake either way, so do what is more convenient for you. For people with lots of snakes who will always have someone to take the leftovers, it's probably not bad to feed. For someone with just one or two who doesn't want to potentially waste a feeder, skipping the feeding is fine and will have zero negative side effects for your snake.
