Honestly, it sounds like you've got some "helicopter parent syndrome" going on and you're over-thinking the little things. Keep being observant, and keep asking questions, but try not to stress yourself out too much.

Well two things, first I just think from what Ive gathered reading on here that at 7 weeks and him being about 9 months old he's probably due to shed soon. Second I'm comparing (and wrongly so) that his behavior was just like what my daughters corn snake does when he goes in shed.
Sure won't argue with over thinking things, I'm not new to snakes but this is my first BP and I guess I'm just going to have to learn to relax and accept they are goofy sometimes. Thanks for the reply, just trying to do everything right and try and understand this guy.
