I just like the way lessers look all by themselves, however if you should change your mind in the future and want to try breeding your snakes, they also combine great with other mutations.

A hypo pinstripe is just a pinstripe combined with the hypomelanistic (hypo or ghost) mutation so that both mutations are displayed in one snake.

Well, since ball pythons have been known to live for over 40 years, You'll probably still have them when it IS time to move out.

Re: Ball Python Morphs under $200

I agree with the above posts concerning a Lesser. We have two Lessers, both striking in different ways, but they just look AMAZING, imo. Gorgeous pattern and colors.

I also have a VERY nice Black Pastel, and recommend them as well. However, you really want to be picky and get one that POPS. I have seen many that don't differentiate from a very dark normal except for the abundance of alienheads. Mine is SUPER dark no way you can mistake him for a normal.

That's my 2 cents on the matter.
    1.0.0 Black Pastel (Temeraire)
    1.1.0 Lesser (Samaranth & Pandora)
    0.1.0 Normal (Nefertiti)
    1.1.0 Normal?Rescues (Jeffrey & Juggernaut)

You might also be able to find an albino for around $250 which definitely doesn't look like a normal. The best thing is wait until a reptile show comes around your area and go there with cash in hand. You can probably find something decent for a decent price. Just be sure to strip down when you get home and hop in the shower and wash your clothes right away so you don't possibly bring mites in on your collection. And spray the snake down with something like Natural Chemistry reptile spray and quarantine obviously. Might be overkill but I'm OCD about bringing mites into my snakes just make a list of what you want and save cash and then check the guys at the shows and wheel and deal
