    Why wasn't I warned?

That boas are super addicting?! I was able to pick up this hog island girl locally last night. She's super curious and I love her already.

    Re: Why wasn't I warned?

I picked up a young one on Friday and she (I think that it is a she but haven't had the sexing done yet) is gorgeous. Still hiding and getting settled into her new quarters but she was out exploring when I first got her home so I snapped a couple of pics. Now she sticks her head out of her hide to see what I'm doing in her enclosure (always seems like something needs to be done). My little one is quite light coloured for about 2/3rds of her body but she is a beauty.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Cutie. Don't worry, the addiction will slow down a bit once you have covered every wall in your living space from floor to ceiling in cages and racks, and every piece of furniture you don't sit on is also a cage, and all your freezers contain more frozen rodents than people food. If you start considering getting rid of your bedframe and box spring and putting the mattress on top of a cage you may have an issue then.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.

For most the addiction ends when a significant other says "STOP!" So the boa addiction ends and the retic infatuation begins!

Don't laugh, I saw a picture of a bedroom where the bed had been lifted high enough so that 6' wide x 30" deep x 18" tall enclosures could be slid underneath, one on each side.
