    F10 hype

Can someone explain to me what it is? I read that it doesn't hurt animals and is used by vets. Where can I buy it and how much does it usually cost? Any cons to using it?

F10sc is a liquid veterinary disinfectant that is used for cleaning and disinfecting hard non porous surfaces. Equipment, utensils and instruments in veterinary practices. Kennels, stables, and aviaries. It has been shown to be effective on a wide range of bacteria , viruses, and funguses.

    Re: F10 hype

The "hype" is that some people have had success by treating a snake with RI by nebulizing F10SC (not F10SCXD which has the detergent). You can look up the dilution ratio for the nebulizer, I've never done it. I do use it for disinfecting though.

Vets also use Chlorhexidine also known as Novalsan. I personally use Chlorhexidine. Both that and F10 will work, just Chlorhexidine is more readily available as it has been used for years on all animals and also as an oral rinse.

    I have done it.

My main cleaner is green soap now because it is easier for me to get.
Reptile Basic is who I use to order my f10 from.
