    Thermostat question

Okay, so I have a VE-300 thermostat that is about 1yr old now. Recently it has started to have the alarm go off and repeat over and over to "set time point". I have reset everything on it and it will be happy for 3-4 hours then the alarm goes off again. Sometimes though it will go off every 10 minutes for awhil. Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I am completely missing something on it.

I have checked and temps are still great.

    Re: Thermostat question

All I can say is that I've experienced similar things with a couple of mine a few years ago . I've no idea why they would just randomly go off but I simply pulled out the plugs and killed all power for about 5 minutes and plugged them back in .... It seemed to work and funnily enough I've never had any issues since .. It could have been a power surge or cut or something that triggered the alarm . Anyways , I'm sure someone who understands the technical stuff will be along soon . I just thought that I'd let you know that it happens to others as well .

Did you try going to the VE website? They probably have a online support with questions and answers. Also, when you unplug the thermostat make sure that it defaults back to the factory settings. Then try to reenter your settings. Hope this helped.
