    Snake pooping all the time!

Has anyone else had this happen? My female hasn't actually pooped for me yet and I've had her 2 weeks, but my male seems to go all the time!!

I checked on him yesterday and he had pooped. I cleaned it up. I checked on him this afternoon and he had pooped again... I've only had him like 2.5 weeks but he seems to go a couple times a week and he's only fed once a week.

Is this normal? lol. I will clean it up every time he does it, but it seems like it might be stressful to him to remove him to clean the spot/replace paper towel almost every day.

I had a couple who used to seemingly poop all the time.

When I started cutting back on everyone's food a while back, that stopped.
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

I feel better knowing others have experienced it haha. I can't cut back on his food. He's only 317g and still has a lot of growing to do. Guess I'll just suck it up and clean poop every day!

I wouldn't worry about it being stressful to spot clean, it's better than sitting in a stinky enclosure. My youngest male is around the same size as yours and I find he goes to the bathroom more often than my bigger snakes. The problem is he's so small that I sometimes don't notice the urates/poops as fast bc they don't stink up the whole room like the bigger ones do. lol

Some are just more inclined to create waste than others. I have my Invisiball baby with me at work today. He gets fed once a week, but he's the mad pooper of the bunch. I just put him back in his house because he was showing me the open vent yet again and I've no desire to wear one of his special creations to a meeting! I swear Dante is grinning at the thought of it. I have others that will hold off until they shed. Twenty five snakes and they all have their individual quirks.
