Try this, it worked great for me on my first feed. On feeding day buy the mouse in the morning and put it in a newspaper lined bin about the length of the snake (mine feed tank is about 24X10 for a 7 month old BP), which the tank cost me 2 bucks at Pic and Save type store. Cut holes in the top for breathing and have the mouse live there all day. Keep it in another room from snake. At night when the snake is moving around, take out the mouse, kill it, and put snake in the mouse tank. Then dangle mouse with tongs or put it on other side of tank (I dangle with my hand and he always strikes about 3 seconds after I start the dance). Do this in a realitively Dark area. Don't feed in the light. I do it in my bathroom (good humidity in there) and have the light on in another room which gives me enough ambient light to see.
