Sunglow Boa and 7' enclosure update.

I've been pretty busy getting my T's enclosure setup, but had a chance to do some updates in my Sunglow's enclosure finally.

    It's 7' x 2' x 2', and he is a Sunglow male around 5'

Nice snake and cage but does that snake even fit in that tiny hide? That looks like an Exo Terra extra large hide which I used to use for Rosey but she outgrew that thing at about 4'. Now I use http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-...Black/17011370 which she fits into fine at 6' with room to spare.

Sweet enclosure for a beautiful snake!

Thanks everyone! My friends aren't "snake" people, so when I show them they don't care much - it always feels good to show someone who can actually appreciate it!

Chester hardly uses the hide, to be honest. Sometimes he is in there, but most often he is under the substrate. Most of his life he didn't have any hides, so I suppose he learned to burrow under the substrate. He's very good at it now! There are times when he manages to hide his entire body!

Lol, yeah my baby sunglow has learned to hide under the aspen. I'm assuming she wasn't given hides as well as when I first got her, she didn't even know what the hides were. She used to sit on top of them. Then she figured them out, uses them but now has figured out the bury under the aspen trick lol. My big BCI girl, only uses her hide when she's shedding, otherwise she is just lays out in the open lol. And lol that picture looks like Vicky when she hides, only way I find her is I follow the tunnel in the aspen lol.

It certainly takes some time, but I always find him. And when I do I move the substrate from his face and he gives me a look of defeat.

"The human found me again!" LOL

Cy has been trying to bury himself but the substrate is not deep enough. I should add an extra layer for him
