She is larger now, sheds tend to come less and less as they grow. My ball pythons as adults will only shed once every 3 or 4 months. One did not shed for 6 months, so I would not be concerned about that if her skin is normal and she is eating fine.
Also, snakes wheeze. More like a loud whistle like exhale of breath through the nose, if that makes any sense. If it happens a lot and you notice her gaping and a lot of mucus in her mouth and nostrils accompanied with the wheezing, then is the time to be concerned, but wheezing is not something to panic about unless other symptoms are present. It never hurts to get checked and honestly, a vet would not be a vet if they did not know what they are doing. They also spend a few extra years at vet school to become an exotic vet so they are better trained. But that is a choice you need to make.
