    anyone?

We went and saw "Spiderman 2" tonight, which isn't the subject of this post (trying to type with Phil wrapped around my left hand). In the pre-movie teasers, they showed a preview for "Anacondas: The search for the Blood Orchid".

Yep. The first "Anaconda" movie wasn't bad enough. They had to go and make an even dumber looking sequel. Big snake eats big people one right after another and never crawls off to find a warm spot to sit and digest the meal.

This movie was probably written by the same folks who write "The Weekly World News".

I'm in the wrong business. I can write better stories than that...

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the theater

I can't believe they even make $$ off of films like that....what a waste!

Ah yes, the Anaconda sequel. My friend and I were messing around online last week and we went to Apple.com to see some movie trailers. Being the snake lover that I am, the Anaconda name caught my attention. As I began to watch the trailer, I noticed it's the sequel to Anaconda(I wasn't thinking when I clicked it) and the whole 2 minute trailer was one of those head-shaking "what were they thinking" things. My friend was all into it because it showed a ravenous snake attacking humans. OMG COOL right. Then he's like "whats up? you don't wanna see that movie?" and I said "well...firstly, the clips they show seem to be taken right out from the first movie(nothings different), and secondly, all they're doing is portraying snakes as horrible ravenous man-eating creatures. It's a black eye to the herping world". And with that said, my friend looked at me for a bit, then said "Man you p***y snake lover. It's a movie. Get over it". I can see he's not gonna be one of those friends I can invite over to enjoy the beauty that is snakes.

    light sockets

I really don't care anymore how people think about reptiles anymore I'm not going to let it ruin my day. I don't know about this movie the story is already falling apart. They have the cure to death but they send out 6 super models to get it. A couple of big guns and that huge snake would be lunch meat.
There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it.
