Re: Quick pic
That is a incredible specimen. Especially when you think about all the legal wrangling going on down in south Fla. Burmese should be known as the "Regal" python. Very nice animal!

Thanks. I agree, he's very gentle unless you happen to trigger a feeding response, and even then it's very easy to get him to snap out of it.

What is it about the Giants? I just love them! In fact I had a dream last night that I had a mega giant in my hotel room, 12 in diameter head,Haha!
Thanks for the pic.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

See the more I see Burmese the sadder I am that they are so restricted. I was watching a SnakeBytes the other day and Brian pulled out this burm morph and was saying how much he loved her but he couldn't have 1 because Lacey Act, he couldn't get it home. I want one....

They're great. It is sad, but I'm not surprised by it at all. The way I see it for every responsible keeper you see, there are probably about five more out there doing everything completely wrong. And those are the people that the public and the media often come in contact with. That applies to all reptiles, it seems that most people buy a snake because they think it's cool (and they are) but aren't interested in committing the time it takes to actually learn to keep it properly or safely, especially with big snakes. They're not for everyone.
Even myself, I bought this snake on my 14th birthday. Very quickly realized what a commitment it would be. I've learned a lot along the way and eight years later he's still with me, and I plan to have him until the day he dies.
