Sorry, I don't really know of any way to lure a snake from outside (just keep an eye on sidewalks, stepping stones, and other places that stay warm at night). But if you fix whatever the problem is with your caging that will at least keep this from happening with your other snakes.
The cage is secured by a pin on each side that's supposed to keep the lid tightly secured to the tank. We found by pushing up, she could've created the perfect gap to slip out with. We are more so worried by the fact that she left the porch. Any other time she went missing, she stuck to the porch. (We found her previous spots from poo and shed) We are hoping she just found a spot we haven't thought of and is close enough to be attracted to the live bait.
