I know you can throw flour down on any hard surface like tile or stone (what's sweeping if you find your snake?) and to check every possible or impossible crevice, dark places, warm places. Be careful the UTH isn't hot enough to burn snake though! And heck. If I had the heating units I would provide heat in every reachable room.
