the cheapest I have seen so far at reptile shows is $10, I would recommend buying at a swap meet. Still need to use good judgement, and check the animals over. You also usually have a huge selection, and the people there WANT to sell and will actually talk to you about their animals. They will be able to tell you alot more than most employees at places like petco.

Petco here is selling them for $30US, however I highly recommend you purchase from a breeder...We bought one of ours for $25US + shipping, however, we got a great deal, but you can find them if you look. Just make sure you are buying from a reputable breeder...

There is no general price. It depends on where you get them. They can range anywhere from 20 to 100 dollars(for babies). The older the bp, the more expensive they are usually.
And 150 canadian? I live in canada, and I found a reptile place in Tecumseh Ontario that has 4 month old baby bp's for 79.99. I thought that was expensive. Didn't think of the whole "everything is more expensive in Canada" thing. Guess that's not bad really, then.

I see most stores in Vancouver selling BP's for $170-$200CDN. I special ordered mine through my favourite local store and they got me my male for $125. Ontario has a much larger market for herps though, so I'm not surprised that they would be cheaper out there.

i got mine at petco, and he costs 89.99. they say he was captive bred, but i question anything from petco. well tempered, but seems scared of a lot of things. my girlfriend paid about the same price 2 years ago at a private reptile store. a real nice snake that loves it when you rub the back of her head where her jaws meet the skull.
