Eggs collapsing too early?
Really it's not eggs, it's one egg, and it has just started collapsing a little bit. They were laid on February 12. It was a five egg clutch. None of the other eggs have started collapsing. I worried that it was too dry, but the vermiculite is not dry by any means and there is condensation in the tub; nevertheless, I added water since it is substrate less, and it's easy enough to wipe condensation from the lid. Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty sure the eggs are fine; i candled and saw the first movement from the embryos which is awesome to see. Thank you all in advance

If possible, insert a diffuser (grate) and then soak the vermiculate. And then add press/seal underneath your lid. I've used this method for years and eliminated egg problems relating to humidity. Good luck!

Yeah I figured you'd see that at some point lol. Thank you for putting my mind at ease. I figured that they were okay, but I had always heard of collapse 2-3 weeks before hatching so, since this was my first clutch, i am a bit wary. Thank you very much!

Re: Eggs collapsing too early?
btw with the diffuser, you can literally soak the vermiculate to the point where you see water. Along with the press/seal, you'll never have issues. Just make sure the eggs are not touching the water. Good luck!
