Are there adverse health effects to allowing snakes to bask directly on the tub?

My adult female pushes her paper towel into the front of her tub and basks in the back directly on the plastic. I was wondering if her doing this for extended periods of time could result in belly rot?

No issues if the temps are okay and the humidity is alright.

A number of mine burrow down to lay on the tub directly at times.
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

I agree with 200xth on the husbandry risks. Also make sure there is no feces and or urine that they are basking in as well. Spilled water that remains on the tub floor can also be problematic. Simply practice cleanliness in and around the tubs, keep them dry inside except for the humidity. Humidity within normal range. Good luck.

It's never wet, the water dish is on the other side of the tub, if there's a spill it gets soaked up quick. I'm I'm immaculate, I switch tubs completely and clean them with water every time there's urine or feces and clean them with f10 or bleach every 3-4 weeks. Thanks !
