Well I was really hoping to wake up and see some white on a baby bp this morning. So far it's a shut out. I have 4 out of 5 eggs hatched and no pied. The last little guy is just poking his nose out now.

This was a 100% het x 100% het breeding, I should have at least got my one Pied.

I HOPE THIS LAST LITTLE GUY IS PIED.
If not I will have to try again next year, I got the 100% pair from a big breeder so I know the genetics are there. This is sure going to set me back in my breeding plans if I don't get a Pied.

    Double cross those fingers, please!!!

You might be able to sell off all those babies and buy a pied to breed to mom or dad.......depends on how much a pied is. I saw one at a show going for 3000 and i saw another one on the net going for 10000, so ...

Who'd you buy your het pied pair from (may I ask)? That could have a lot to do with why there is no "white" in that clutch so far. I hope all goes well, and you have to tell us if that last one was the lucky one (with pictures, of course!)!

    Hi guys-
Well I am still waiting on that last little guy to pop out but I swear I saw some white in that egg. Of corse he/she is taking their time coming out into the world. This pair is from Ralph Davis. I will post again as soon as anything happens.

I would have gone insane by now waiting. This is the reason I won't buy a possible het. Not that I am saying thats what you got but I just don't think I could handle the disapointment if only normal looking babys hatched.
