Parents think snakes are evil (I want a bp?)

Also, in the beginning I just thought Op's parents wouldn't buy him a snake because they thought they were evil. Like I said I didn't read in depth, I just loosely stated how I got my first snake and showed my parents I was responsible enough to have a pet, and that they learned to respect them because of it. I just don't want anybody thinking I'm an irresponsible or ignorant snake owner. I've had a love/respect for them since I was a young child, and it's only grown as I've matured. I've taught many people the truth about reptiles, snakes in general, and have turned more than a few people in reptile lovers themselves. I am much smarter than I was at 15. Much more financially capable, too. That's why I had one snake from age 15-17, then acquired nine more snakes between 18-20.
Anyway, I'm glad OP got his snake, in a way his parents approve of, and I'm sure he'll be able to educate them. I'm glad there are young people who have a genuine interest for reptiles, and don't fall into that "eaten alive" bullcrap. So, much respect to you, OP. I'm sure your parents will see you as responsible after you care for your pet, and I'm sure they will also learn that they are not vile, evil, devilish creatures

Maybe I exaggerated.. they are just wildly uncomfortable with a snake. But they have been convinced!

I got my first snake when I was 19 I was staying at my mom's temporary and I rapped it up and gave it to her for Christmas. She freeked.. she became accepting of it after it was in her house for a week. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED WHAT I DID NOR SELL A SNAKE TO SOMEONE WHO STATED THAT THATS WHAT THEY WERE DOING WITH IT

Contrary to what you came into this place under the impression under, we're people. With emotions. From the tone of one of your other posts, you seem to have a problem with that.

If people reacting negatively to out right terrible advice or behavior is gonna be hard for you to deal with, maybe go hang out with some robots for a while. Now are we done derailing this thread?

Uh yeah, it actually just sounds like your massively immature. There's no reason to fly off the handle and get angry, that's just a lack of self control and has absolutely nothing to do with anyone else. You're in control of your own emotions (one would hope) as an adult. I hope you don't treat your own children like little "pricks".
