    Weird Feeding Behavior?

Hey guys! So this might be a weird question, but is it common for a bp to not strike/wrap their prey after their first food item when feeding two or more prey items? A couple of weeks ago my bp hit 400g and I decided to feed him two f/t rat pups once a week at least until I run out (I have about 15 left) and buy some small rats. He'd poke his head out of his hide and wait for the first prey item and as soon as I present it to him he'll strike and eat with no issues, but as soon as I present the second, I would have to get the pup to do the zombie dance for about 30 seconds in front of his hide and usually about that time he would show some interest but he won't strike, but as soon as I walk away he's pulling the pup into his hide as if he was too shy to eat in front of me. I'm not entirely worried about it since he's never refused a meal, but I just thought it was kind of funny that he would become an aggressive feeder with the first pup and then with the second he would wait until I left the room to consume it. I was just wondering if anyone else has a bp that has a weird feeding behavior as well?

When I fed my pied girl a second rat sometimes if my supplier was out of weaned and I had to buy 2 pups, she would be gung ho for the first and the second she would just grab it and swallow it down. Luckily I pre kill all my rats before I feed any of my snakes except for the pups or fuzzies as they are too small to do any dmg anyways.
