Re: Please help me with my new Albino BP :)
True, however the hc albino has more deep orange borders that surround the yellow blotches. The lavenders tend to be somewhat more blushed. Especially on the top of the head. Overall lavenders are lighter than a high contrast albino. When you look at the www.worldofballpythons.com photos you will appreciate the difference. Peace.

Interesting.. I wasn't sure if it was something else either since it has some orange spots on its body and the to of its head is more orange. Overall I got it for $75 and I got extremely lucky.
I can see the differences, now just time to grow the little one, since I believe its around 9 months old now and didn't eat well since it was stressed where it was originally, now it's 4/4 eating while i have it in it's new setup, that's every 5th day too!

Lavender Albinos and Caramel Albinos are different morphs than the "regular albino".

You might have a lavender albino looking more closely at the pics! Did you have the pleasure of visiting www.worldofballpythons.com ? There are so many albino morphs its a crazy long list. However, I think you do have something special but I don't believe it's a hc. I certainly could be wrong! You definitely got a good deal either way with that low price. Ask the person you purchased him from to please show you the pics of the parents! Good luck!

If you look at some pictures, or better yet some live examples, you should be able to tell them apart. They really aren't that similar, maybe baby albinos and baby lav albinos but with a little experience you shouldn't have an issue.

Re: Please help me with my new Albino BP :)
Thanks!
Wow that's exciting! I did check out the site, and I can definitely see where the lavender could come into play, that's what made me speculate originally. I can try to add some more photos too. I got him at a pet store that had him in a tank that barely anyone could see since it was so low to the ground, and he was 87% off or something ridiculous like that. I literally walked out paying $76 bucks with tax, but I cant see/ know who the parents are unfortunately, nor do I know if it's a male or female. It's eyes are different than the other albino's I've seen, and top of of it's head it very orange too with several orange patches on it's body.
